The Workers’ Compensation Board has recently announced proposals to severely cut compensation benefits for workers who have been injured on the job. The proposals are slated to go into effect 1/1/18.

This makes the proposals even worse; the New York Workers’ Compensation Alliance alleges that these proposals will transfer the money that rightfully belongs to injured workers to insurance companies and the like.
